It's not as bad as it looks

Since I got here, I've heard lots of people complaining about the weather - how it's cooler than it's supposed to be, and more significantly, the rain.  Let me break it down for you - the "rain" they have been complaining about lasts very briefly and isn't very hard.  It's been in the 50's and 60's - so I definitely am not complaining about that!  I don't think they realize that in places like Texas, flash floods, tornadoes, hail and other thunderstorm related stuff that's like the norm for May. 
The clouds were looking onminous, but it didn't every really rain and they blew past pretty quickly.
