Mark and I went for a 5 mile hike today around the Almeden Quicksilver Mines. It was very scenic and covered a very large area - all within a few miles of San Jose!
Animals seen today:
Lizards - lots
Stellar Jay (very pretty!)
No rattlesnakes!
No ticks!
